| Andy Cross Andy’s starting point was classical music, studying Trumpet at the Royal College of Music under David Mason, famous for his Piccolo Trumpet solo on The Beatles, Penny Lane. On graduating he moved into the commercial sector, doing seasons as Musical Director at The Wintergardens, Bournemouth; The Inn on the Bay, Morecambe and other UK resorts. He formed the show-band IMAGES with the aim of seeing the world, and after contracts in the Middle East, Europe, and Scandinavia, did his first cruise season around the Greek Islands and Turkey. This began a long association with the sea. Andy then launched his solo career, as a multi-instrumental cabaret entertainer and was appointed Director of Entertainment for Regent Holidays, a Canadian holiday company, organizing all the entertainment for their cruise seasons in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Having satisfied his wanderlust, Andy now enjoys teaching the Trumpet and Guitar and combines his love of music and entertainment in the unique form of KAZOOGA; singing, playing the Trumpet, the Guitar, and the Harmonica. |
